Exam Information

The CompTIA Network+ certification exam is a standalone certification from CompTIA with the exam code N10-005. The certification is targeted at network professionals, system administrators and technicians involved with setting up and troubleshooting IT networks. The exam covers network technologies, installation and configuration, media and topologies, management, and security.

The current version of CompTIA Network+, exam code N10-005 was released on Dec. 1, 2011. The revised objectives address virtual networking and give increased attention to network security and coverage of the seven-layer OSI (Open System Interconnection) model.
